*Role Overview: *

• We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our e-commerce website and ensure that our customers receive an exceptional experience. In order to achieve that, the Associate will work closely with 200+ diamond vendors from Bombay, Surat, Hong Kong, Belgium & USA, as well as with jewelry manufacturers, to ensure that the supply chain is running smoothly.
• The candidate will also monitor our distribution centers in the heart of NY and Bombay to ensure efficient order processing and timely shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Managing key communications & dispute handling with all vendors.
• Ensuring timely payments & credits reconciliation with all vendors.
• Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure that customer inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with logistics partners to ensure that shipments are on schedule & help manage expedite requests when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities.
• Report potential delays and blockages to the Director of Operations before time and come up with solutions to prevent them in future.
• Utilize Excel, Google sheets and other software to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the returns process and manage reverse logistics.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to address any issues related to returns
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Excel and other software tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of the diamond industry is a plus.
• Startup experience is a big plus
