Django Developer

This isn’t a backseat role. This is real ownership.
You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems that power live AI agents including workflow orchestration, schedulers, task queues, background workers, and automation logic running in production. You’ll own features end-to-end, from design to deployment and stability in production.

What You’ll Do
Own and ship production-grade backend features using Django
Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and internal services used by AI agents
Build and operate task queues, background jobs, schedulers, and event-driven systems
Manage state, retries, failures, idempotency, and fault tolerance in long-running workflows
Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems
Debug and resolve production issues with a strong sense of accountability
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver on timelines

Who You Are
1–3 years of hands-on experience with Python and Django in production
Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Solid understanding of async processing, queues, and background workers
High sense of ownership and accountability for systems you build
Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Bonus: experience with automation, scraping, browser control, or AI-driven systems
