We are looking for a Founding Development Associate to join the YuDevelopment Apprentice Program.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a serious career in real estate development and is willing to work in person in Atlanta. You do not need to already be an expert, but you must be hungry, organized, curious, and willing to figure things out.
You will be involved in real work connected to multifamily development, city relationships, attainable housing, predevelopment, market research, investor coordination, and internal operations.
What You’ll Work On
As a Founding Development Associate, you may help with:
Researching Southeast cities and markets for attainable housing opportunities
Identifying potential multifamily development sites
Supporting city outreach and relationship-building efforts
Helping organize predevelopment tasks, timelines, and project trackers

Assisting with investor and capital raise follow-up systems
Preparing summaries, reports, and research briefs for leadership
Supporting internal development operations and company-building projects
Learning how real estate deals move from idea to execution
What We’re Looking For

Interested in real estate development, housing, cities, business, or investing
Available to work in person in Dunwoody / Atlanta 5 days per week
Willing to relocate to Atlanta if not already local
A strong communicator who can write clearly and think structurally
Comfortable working in ambiguity and figuring things out without perfect instructions
Organized, reliable, and able to follow through on assignments
Hungry to learn directly from experienced operators and developers
