We are hiring a serious, high-ownership COO to take operational leadership and help scale AngryPages from early traction into a real business.

We are still in the very early stages — bootstrapped with minimal funding (< $5k seed), a tiny team, and modest early traction. Our long-term ambition is bold: building toward a platform that can serve hundreds of millions of users by helping creators own and monetize their stories in the AI era.

This is not a traditional corporate COO role. It is a hands-on founding-stage leadership position. You will need to be a strong self-starter who can independently assess situations, build processes, and drive execution with minimal oversight.

The Role
As our COO and early founding team member, you will work directly with the founder to build operations, establish repeatable processes, and drive the company toward sustainable growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational systems and processes as the company scales
• Lead creator acquisition, onboarding, and success efforts
• Build and optimize publishing workflows and quality control
• Drive commercial strategy, including partnerships, advertising, and revenue streams
• Establish sales and outreach processes that can scale
• Support fundraising preparation and investor communications
• Help shape overall company strategy and execution alongside the founder

Who We’re Looking For
A practical, calm, and commercially sharp operator with strong ownership mindset. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, building from nearly zero, and turning high-level goals into daily results.

Ideal background includes:

• Prior experience as COO, SVP Operations, or similar senior operational leadership role
• Background in startups, publishing, media, creator economy, marketplaces, or SaaS
• Strong business development and partnership skills
• Excellent judgment, follow-through, and ability to work directly with a founder
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in an early-stage environment
