Embedded Firmware Engineer

We need an engineer capable of deploying AI workloads on resource-constrained edge devices, while also building and optimizing embedded systems and firmware. You will be working on the "brain" of defense systems—spanning low-level hardware control to high-level autonomy—for real-world defense scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edge AI Deployment: Optimize and deploy computer vision models on embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and similar edge devices.
• Embedded Systems Development: Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and embedded platforms, ensuring reliable real-time performance and hardware integration.
• Pipeline Development: Build low-latency video and ML pipelines using GStreamer, OpenCV, and hardware-accelerated decoding.
• Autonomy Algorithms: Develop logic for autonomous operations and robotics integration (ROS/ROS2).
• Application Development: Create C++/Python-based tools for internal workflows; fork, modify, and extend existing open-source software.
• System Optimization: Maximize performance under thermal and power constraints using quantization, pruning, multi-threading, and hardware-aware optimizations.
