The Role
We’re looking for a Mobile QA Engineer / App Tester to help us deliver a reliable and polished mobile experience. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure every release meets quality standards before reaching users.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys exploring apps, identifying issues, validating user journeys, and has an interest in test automation for mobile applications. You’ll begin with hands-on functional testing while gradually contributing to automation of mobile test scenarios.

What You’ll Do
Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Test new features and releases across Android and iOS applications
• Validate critical user journeys such as:
• User onboarding
• KYC flows
• Wallet top-up
• QR payments
• Transactions and account management flows
• Execute functional, regression, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Test edge cases including:
• Poor network conditions
• Low battery scenarios
• Device variations
• Localization / language changes
• Invalid and unusual inputs
• Create clear and reproducible bug reports including:
• Steps to reproduce
• Screenshots / videos
• Device and OS information
• Expected vs actual results
• Verify bug fixes and support release validation activities
• Provide usability feedback on workflows, copy, and overall product experience

Test Automation (Learning & Execution)

• Assist in automating mobile functional test cases for Android and iOS applications
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical workflows
• Help build reusable test scenarios and regression suites
• Participate in improving QA processes, test coverage, and automation practices
• Work with engineering teams to integrate automated tests into release pipelines

Required Skills
Must Have

• 0–1 year experience in QA / Mobile App Testing (students and recent graduates welcome)
• Strong attention to detail with a curious, problem-solving mindset
• Good understanding of mobile application testing concepts
• Comfortable using Android and iOS devices
• Ability to write clear bug reports and test scenarios
• Good written communication skills in English
• Basic understanding of:
• Functional testing
• Regression testing
• Test case creation
• Defect lifecycle Preferred / Nice to Have Exposure to mobile test automation tools such as:

• Appium

• Basic programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages

• Familiarity with tools such as:

• Jira

• TestFlight

• Firebase

• Postman

• Git

• Understanding of APIs and backend validation is a plus

• Interest in fintech, travel, or consumer-facing applications
