About the job
Knowledge Modeling Analyst
Role Overview
As our system evolves, we are formalizing a function focused on transforming domain knowledge into structured, executable logic.
This role focuses on how complex knowledge is defined, structured, and translated into consistent rule systems.
Scope of Work
This function includes two complementary areas:
Knowledge Modeling
Core Layer
- Transform complex domain knowledge, such as clinical guidelines and trading theories, into structured representations
- Define standardized condition naming and logic boundaries
- Decompose text into atomic and composite rule structures
- Ensure consistency and clarity across all definitions
System Execution & Optimization
Execution Layer
- Design and refine workflows that apply structured logic
- Improve output quality through iteration and validation
- Optimize system efficiency, including cost and processing time
- Ensure structured rules are correctly applied in system execution
Key Capabilities
We recognize two important and complementary strengths within this function:
Structured Thinking / Knowledge Modeling
- Ability to convert complex text into structured logic
- Strong attention to consistency and definition clarity
- Comfortable working with rule systems and standardization
- Ability to decompose complex sentences into clear logical structures, such as AND / OR conditions
- Ability to translate natural language into precise, structured rules without introducing ambiguity
- Strong attention to logical consistency and definition boundaries
System Optimization & Execution
- Ability to improve output quality through iteration
- Sensitivity to efficiency, cost, and performance
- Strong problem-solving and refinement mindset
Candidates will be required to complete a short exercise to convert complex text into structured logical conditions.
Background
We are open to diverse backgrounds, including:
- Business / Analytics / Consulting
- Healthcare / Public Health
- Data / Systems / Technical backgrounds
Candidates with business, analytics, or consulting experience are preferred.
The key requirement is structured thinking and problem decomposition ability.
Role Philosophy
We view this function as a structured system design role, where:
Knowledge → Structured Rules → System Execution
Different team members may contribute to different layers based on their strengths.
Goal
To build a system where:
- Knowledge is clearly defined
- Logic is consistent and deterministic
- Execution is efficient and scalable
