About Vaia

Vaia is a tech-enabled sustainability and investment advisory firm building AI-native products at the intersection of ESG, private markets, and intelligent automation. We work with investment firms, family offices, and corporates helping them navigate sustainability and financial decisions using proprietary AI tools and deep domain expertise. We are a small, fast-moving team and every engineer here owns a significant surface area from day one.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack AI Intern who will work hands-on on production-grade projects across our web and AI-powered product suite. You will contribute to real workstreams, own tasks independently, and work closely with the core team on live client-facing products.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain full stack features across our product suite from frontend interfaces to backend APIs
• Integrate LLM APIs and AI capabilities into existing and new product surfaces
• Work across the stack on real, deployed products — not internal tools or mock projects
• Collaborate directly with the founding team on features that reach real clients

Tech Stack

You should have working knowledge of some or most of the following: MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, and Python. Familiarity with REST APIs, basic cloud concepts, and LLM API integration is a plus.

Who You Are

• Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field
• Comfortable across the stack and not precious about staying on one side of it
• Able to work independently, pick up new tools quickly, and deliver without hand-holding
• Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
