Founder Engineer — Full-Stack Python

KEDA is a territorial intelligence platform for tourism. We connect guides, hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, and regional governments into a single digital ecosystem — using QR-based user acquisition, data intelligence, and AI to serve both local providers and international travelers.
We're not building a local app. We're building the reference infrastructure for destination tourism in emerging markets, serving travelers from anywhere in the world. Our first deployment covers three regions in northern Peru. Our first major institutional use case is the Rutas del Papa initiative — the official tourism program around Pope Francis's upcoming visit to Chiclayo.
We have a functional MVP, defined architecture, and operational dashboards. What we need now is the third technical pillar of the founding team.
What you'll do
• Consolidate and stabilize the existing platform alongside our CTO (the system architect)
• Prepare the backend for real production use: error handling, data integrity, performance
• Implement new features as the product evolves post-launch
• Support AI integrations and territorial data intelligence capabilities
• Grow with the platform — this role has a long runway

Who we're looking for
• 2–5 years of software development experience

• Able to work on existing codebases without rewriting everything
• No ego — you work alongside the architect, not above or around them
• Builder mentality — you want to own outcomes, not just tasks
This role is on-site in Chiclayo, Peru. Not because we don't trust remote work — because this is where the platform gets built. The territorial intelligence, the regional governments, the international traveler arriving in northern Peru — all of it requires being in the territory.
