Cloudworx builds the Process Twin Platform: live 3D digital twins, made from the CAD and BIM files a plant already owns, that run in any browser with no GPU servers, bind IoT, SCADA, MES and ERP data to every asset and add an AI agent that answers in plain English. We have deployed 20+ twins across manufacturing, energy, ports, aerospace and campuses, and hold a US patent in force to 2035.

The role
Your first programme is a 3D sales and configuration twin for a global electrification and automation leader, built as a micro-app inside the client's production product-selection application. You work on the Cloudworx platform as a client-facing Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) inside the client's corporate network, owning the backend from user-story workshops to security sign-off and go-live. As product delivery to the end client matures, you transition into a larger platform role inside Cloudworx, where these services become part of the core platform.

What you will do

• Micro-app backend: Node.js and Express services shipped as Docker images to the client's Azure subscription.
• Identity: OpenID Connect sign-in with token sessions tied to the user and project.
• Integration: The client's production sizing and project APIs, with their system kept as the source of truth.
• AI assistant: An MCP-based assistant on a private Azure LLM, scoped by the user's own token.
• DevOps and security: CI/CD, WAF, logging, and fixes from security scans and penetration tests.
• Client-facing: Workshops, fortnightly demos, syncs at the client's Bengaluru site, UAT and go-live training.

What you bring

• Node.js and Express: 5+ years of backend work, most of it on production Node.js.
• Identity: OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML and JWT against an enterprise identity provider.
• Integration: Built against another company's production API and its release gates.
• Data: MongoDB and Redis in production.
• Cloud: Docker, Azure container deployment and CI/CD.
• Security: A service taken through a corporate security review and penetration test.

Nice to have

• MCP servers or LLM tool calling.
• Neo4j and graph modelling.
• Three.js or React Three Fiber.

Location and travel

• On site in Bengaluru with regular visits to the client's Bengaluru site.
• You work inside the client's network on client-issued identities, VDI and VPN.
• Five full working days plus a half day on Saturday.
