About MIRA Labs
MIRA Labs is building AI-powered mortgage automation that transforms how lenders process, underwrite, and close loans. Our platform leverages cutting-edge AI/ML to eliminate manual bottlenecks across the mortgage lifecycle. We’re a fast-moving startup solving real problems in a $12T+ market.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who can wear both the product and project hats — someone who can own the product roadmap and vision while also driving execution, managing timelines, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned and shipping.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and delivery. You’ll define what we build and why, then make sure it actually gets built — on time, at quality, and in coordination with engineering, design, AI/ML, and business stakeholders. You’re equally comfortable presenting a quarterly roadmap to leadership as you are running a sprint retro or unblocking an engineer.
What You’ll Do
Product Ownership
• Own the product roadmap — define priorities, sequence features, and make trade-off decisions grounded in user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility
• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and market discovery to inform product direction
• Write clear product requirements — PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria — that engineering teams can execute against without ambiguity
• Define and track product success metrics (adoption, engagement, retention, NPS) and use data to drive iteration
• Work closely with AI/ML teams to translate model capabilities into user-facing product experiences
• Manage the product backlog — prioritize ruthlessly, keep it clean, and ensure alignment with business goals
Project & Delivery Management
• Drive end-to-end delivery of product initiatives — from scoping and planning through development, QA, and release
• Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks across engineering, design, and business teams
• Run sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives — adapt methodology (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid) based on what the project needs
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams — ensure engineering, QA, design, and stakeholders are aligned on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage stakeholder communication — regular status updates, escalation of blockers, and clear reporting on progress and trade-offs
• Track and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and delivery milestones
• Maintain project documentation — timelines, decision logs, risk registers, and release plans
Strategic & Cross-Functional
• Partner with leadership to align product strategy with company objectives and growth targets
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback and ensure product-market fit
• Identify process improvements — streamline how we plan, build, and ship
• Contribute to go-to-market planning, including positioning, messaging inputs, and launch coordination
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, with meaningful exposure to project management and delivery
• Demonstrated ability to own a product roadmap end-to-end — from discovery through delivery
• Strong experience writing PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Hands-on experience running Agile/Scrum processes with flexibility to adapt methodology as needed
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with engineering, design, QA, and business teams
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle — you can speak the language of engineering without being an engineer
• Comfort with data-driven decision making — defining metrics, analyzing usage data, and running experiments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — written and verbal
• Experience with project management and product tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, Confluence, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in fintech, mortgage, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with AI/ML products — understanding how to productize model capabilities
• Experience with B2B or enterprise SaaS products
• Background in managing client-facing deliverables alongside internal product work
• Familiarity with API products or platform/developer-facing features
• Experience working in startup or early-stage environments where scope is fluid and speed matters
• PMP, CSPO, or similar certification (not required, but a plus)
