Senior Structural Engineer

Thanks for your interest in Rbhu! We’re a small, woman and minority owned, fun, and creative engineering firm that specializes in large-scale artwork. Our projects range from monumental public sculptures to complex architectural installations. We are a fully remote company and offer a flexible work schedule.

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to manage projects from concept through completion. You’ll handle everything from start to finish, including structural analysis, client coordination and permit documentation preparation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, embraces creative problem-solving, and wants to do work that’s truly one of a kind.

What You'll Do

• Lead structural engineering projects from start to finish
• Perform structural analysis of various materials and foundation types
• Communicate directly with clients and teammates
• Produce AutoCAD drawings and permit packages
• Collaborate with junior engineers as needed
• Contribute creative ideas and practical solutions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
• P.E. license with a structural focus
• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Proficient in:

• RISA-3D (or similar structural analysis software)

• RFEM (or comparable FEA software)

• ENERCALC

• AutoCAD

• Interest in art and design

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-directed work style
