About the job
The role:
You'll be the foundational hire in our technical team, working directly with the founder to build internal tools, automate manual processes, and develop the data infrastructure that powers our client work. Everything from scraping and data pipelines to web apps and dashboards.
This is a role with a high degree of autonomy. You'll take problems and opportunities, figure out how to build solutions, and own them end to end. You'll be expected to be resourceful, using documentation, AI tools, and your own initiative to solve problems and continuously improve your craft. If you thrive with independence and ownership, this is the right environment for you.
What you'll be building:
A best-in-class suite of audience analysis and marketing tools includiing:
- Internal data tools that scrape, process, and analyse social media audience data to surface insights for our clients.
- Automated and AI-augmented workflows that replace manual processes across the agency incl. reporting, data collection and content pipelines.
- Client-facing dashboards and internal apps using Python and lightweight web frameworks like Streamlit.
- Data pipelines that pull from third-party APIs, clean and transform data, and store it for analysis.
What we're looking for:
- Strong Python skills
- Experience or strong interest in web scraping and working with third-party APIs
- Comfort building simple web applications and interfaces (Streamlit, Flask, FastAPI or similar)
- Basic database skills - SQL, data modelling, working with something like BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or even SQLite
- Strong maths and statistics skills to understand and implement established analytical methods (you'll be working with libraries like NetworkX and scipy)
- Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn data libraries like pandas and numpy
- Experience using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) as part of your development workflow and a strong interest in AI developments
What matters more than your CV:
Show us something you've built. A side project, a tool, a scraper, a bot, an app, anything that works and solves a real problem. We care about what you can do and how you think, not where you studied or how many years you've been working.
You should be the kind of person who builds things in their spare time because they find it interesting, not because someone told them to. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and energised by figuring things out rather than frustrated by it. You should want to be in an environment where your work has immediate, visible impact.
About us:
We're a boutique digital agency at the intersection of technology and culture. We partner with global brands across music, film, hospitality and the broader cultural landscape working with the likes of Sony, Universal and Warner to deliver digital campaigns at the cutting edge of social media. We're a fast-moving team and technology is central to how we deliver for our clients and how we operate as a business.
The environment:
This is a small, fast-moving team working with some of the most exciting brands in music, film, and culture. It's entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and hands-on. You'll have direct access to the founder, real ownership of what you build, and the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a fast-growing business. We're building proprietary tools that give us a genuine competitive edge. As the agency grows, so does the technical function. This role has the scope to grow into a senior or lead position as we expand the team. We want someone who sees this as a chance to get in early and build something meaningful, not just fill a role.
Location: Shoreditch, London
Salary: £28-35k depending on experience, plus participation in the company's growth through performance-based incentives.
To apply: Alongside your CV please send us a link to something you've built and a short note on what it does and why you're proud of it.
