Job Summary (Telecom Infrastructure Engineer)

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize telecom infrastructure for reliable and scalable network communication.
• Collaborate with network architects to plan telecom networks and recommend suitable hardware/software solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain telecom equipment including routers, switches, gateways, and servers.
• Monitor network performance, perform troubleshooting, and carry out routine maintenance (updates, patches, security).
• Plan and scale network capacity to meet growing organizational needs.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Manage vendor relationships for procurement and technology updates.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes; create user guides and training materials.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network continuity.
• Train and mentor junior engineers; stay current with emerging telecom technologies.
