AI-First Growth Marketing Intern

GAIN Fitness is looking for an AI-savvy, ambitious Growth Marketing Intern who’s excited about startups, fitness, and modern growth across multiple channels.

GAIN Fitness is a pioneer in workout apps and has recently relaunched as an AI-first personal fitness assistant. Our platform can serve many fitness personas and user needs through one app—weight loss, active aging, endurance athletes, HYROX competitors, posture correction, and more.

Our vision:
1 fitness app to deliver 1,000 personalized experiences to 1,000 different users.

You’ll work directly with our founder (5x serial fit-tech entrepreneur) and a small team of experienced tech entrepreneurs to experiment with new growth channels and help us scale the next generation of personalized fitness.

What You'll Do

• Test growth strategies across social, creators, and AI-generated content
• Outreach and partnerships with TikTok & Instagram creators
• Help produce short-form video and social content
• Run experiments with SEO, ASO, and product-led growth
• Build and optimize landing pages and funnels (Framer, Google Analytics)
• Support paid acquisition experiments (Meta, Google, Apple)
• Discover and enage niche online communities (Reddit, Quora, Discord, etc.)
• Contribute to PR, partnerships, and community growth

Skills (Helpful but Not Required)

• AI tools for marketing and content generation
• Social media marketing (TikTok, IG, X)
• Content creation (video, photo, audio)
• Basic design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Adobe)
• Landing pages or growth funnels
• Analytics and growth experimentation

Mostly we’re looking for curiosity, initiative, and someone who learns fast and is AI-native, and who also has good taste and an eye for style, design, and user experience.

Bonus Points

• Competitive athlete and strong interest in fitness
• Fitness certifications or industry experience
• Experience running social accounts or creator projects

About the Team
We’re a remote-first company with teammates across California, Vancouver, and Thailand. The team is small, senior, and highly autonomous.

You’ll get exposure to AI-driven product development, startup growth strategy, and modern marketing tools while helping scale a next-generation fitness platform.
