Key Responsibilities

Graphic & Print Design Creation

  • Develop original prints, patterns, icons, illustrations, and graphic assets across multiple categories (hardlines, softlines, seasonal, and promotional)
  • Translate trends, cultural cues, and brand direction into fresh, compelling artwork that feels exclusive and on-brand
  • Tailor graphics for multiple brand aesthetics and demographic targets within the Owned Brands portfolio

Trend & Inspiration Development

  • Research market trends, color stories, cultural influences, material/print techniques, and competitive design activity
  • Build inspiration boards, seasonal print stories, and category-specific graphic direction to influence product creation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Designers to bring graphic concepts to life across product forms, materials, and packaging
  • Partner with Product Innovation to ensure timely delivery of artwork, tech packs, specs, and revisions
  • Ensure graphic assets support Merchandising goals, product positioning, and brand architecture

Technical Excellence & Production Readiness

  • Prepare final artwork files, repeat patterns, color separations, and print-ready specifications for suppliers
  • Ensure graphics meet manufacturing requirements (print methods, fabrications, substrates, scale, color accuracy)
  • Review samples (digital and physical) for quality, execution fidelity, and brand consistency

Speed, Agility & Operational Discipline

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Deliver artwork packages, revisions, and approvals in tight timelines without sacrificing creativity or detail
  • Proactively identify workflow efficiencies that accelerate design-to-sample timelines

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic or print design
  • Comprehensive understanding of fashion and textile design history, evolution and current application of iconic prints
  • 3–6 years of experience in print/graphic design, preferably in retail, consumer products, apparel, hardlines, or lifestyle brands. Pet experience preferred
  • Proven capability to balance creative, trend-forward ideas with commercial retail needs
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating original prints, patterns, illustrations, and brand-consistent artwork
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); knowledge of color theory and print production
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes for softlines and/or hardlines (screen print, sublimation, woven labels, embossing, UV print, etc.)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple fast-moving projects
  • Strong sense of trend, culture, and consumer behavior; ability to adapt styles across multiple brands
  • Ability to create cohesive product assortments & capsules, color palettes, pattern collections and line architecture

Core Competencies

  • Creator of exclusive, on-trend artwork that differentiates our Owned Brands
  • Fast-moving executor who hits deadlines, maintains accuracy, and adapts quickly
  • Design-obsessed thinker who energizes the team with new ideas and elevated taste
  • Collaborative partner who communicates well and supports cross-functional alignment
  • Detail-driven technician who ensures production-ready excellence
