Our vision

LongRun is an app designed to help men (20-30 years-old) break free from digital over-consumption and start taking real action on their goals. Through AI-powered goal discovery and personalized challenges, we help them get off their phone and build the life they actually want.

We're building an AI-powered app for personal development through all life phases.

Your mission

We're looking for a technical co-founder to own the engineering side of LongRun and build it to last. You should be comfortable with full-stack development, AI-integration, and scaling consumer products. Most importantly: you love to execute, are honest, and think long-term.

This isn't his first entrepreneurial project, but it's the first he could do for the rest of his life. He brings business development, sales, design, and marketing experience.
• Early stage: We've taken LongRun from an idea on paper to a working MVP in the last 6 months, continuously iterating and growing (2 developer interns, 1 UX/UI designer intern, 1 social media marketing intern).
• Meaningful mission: Help millions of young guys discover and live their life mission.
• Long-term journey: We're micro fast, macro patient. We believe directionlessness is one of the world's biggest problems – that's why we're on a 10-20+ year journey here, maybe our whole lives if things go well. We need someone who wants to build this sustainably and ambitiously with us for the long run.

What you own

• All technical decisions: You build together with the team – frontend, backend, architecture, infrastructure – and you lead by example.
• Turning product ideas into working systems: Everyone can contribute ideas. Vid (our designer) and Simon (our CEO) design the interfaces, screens, features, and functionality. You and the developers are responsible for technical implementation and development. (We can adjust these processes as needed.)
• Daily execution: You love shipping continuously. You're pragmatic but think about scale. You execute every day without needing someone to push you.
• Building our data moat: Long-term, we want to be the best at helping men with their goals because we have the best user data that we can use to train our own AI – and know exactly when and how to help. You'll own building systems that make this possible.
• Growing the team: Whether it's hiring new interns or hiring our first employees – when the time comes, you lead by example and are involved in hiring devs.

• Location: Ideally NRW (easier to meet in person), otherwise anywhere in Germany preferred
• Equity: 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff
