Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, product, and manual QA teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to determine test coverage and automation feasibility
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with manual QA engineers to convert regression and repetitive test cases into automation
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release discussions
• Ensure test automation integration with CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and test execution logs
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience in writing test scripts for web applications
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman / Rest Assured is a plus)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills

Good to Have:-

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Experience in performance or security testing is a plus
• Prior experience in a product-based or SaaS environment

Educational Qualification:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in Software Testing or Automation are an added advantage
