Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Delivery: architect and implement a hybrid, three-tier, omnichain architecture powered by self-sovereign user identity (ZKP-verified & Portable DIDs) for Global AgriFood Deal Execution — enabling secure, transparent and efficient transactions across farmers, traders, processors, exporters and other market participants, while directly driving up to 30% of MVP automation for pilot launches
2. Performance Ownership: Own the technical performance, security, and scalability of live deployments against defined benchmarks
3. Strategy & Fundraising: Co-own and defend Ukkoloo‘s technical strategy with the core team, investors
4. Team Leadership: Scale, mentor, and lead the engineering team, establishing a high-performance execution culture

Requirements

1. 10+ years of engineering experience, including roles as a CTO, Tech Lead, or Principal Architect, with a proven track record of launching complex, scalable hybrid AI and decentralized (Web3/Omnichain) solutions
2. Deep architectural expertise in cross-chain protocols, smart contract infrastructure, and security frameworks for self-custody systems
3. Ability to define, own, and defend a comprehensive technical strategy, translating complex architecture into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders and investors
4. Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams within early-stage or high-growth environments
5. A founder-level ownership mindset, acting as a long-term equity-driven owner rather than a hired manager

Engagement

1. Initial part-time commitment: 20-25 hours per week, with a clear path to increased involvement as the Ukkoloo scales

Motivation

1. Equity: starting from 5% at entry, with upside to 12%, subject to milestone-based vesting tied to pilot delivery and long - term commitment. Equity refreshers after the initial 4-years cycle
2. Salary: competitive salary to be triggered immediately upon the successful closure of the upcoming fundraising round
