Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced ** AI Agent Developer** passionate about building and orchestrating advanced AI automation systems.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving end-to-end project execution, mentoring junior developers, and influencing the broader AI automation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement sophisticated AI agent workflows using n8n, LangChain, Elevenlabs, or custom agent orchestration platforms.
  
• Integrate and optimize LLMs, APIs, and automation logic to deliver scalable, intelligent business workflows.
  
• Own the entire agent lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous optimization.
  
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to align architecture with business goals and user needs.
  
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and advocate engineering best practices.
  
• Ensure high standards of code quality, documentation, and maintainability across the automation stack.
  
• Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging AI frameworks and agentic tools to keep Websmiths.io on the cutting edge.

Requirements

• 2+ years of development experience, with 2+ years building AI agents, RPA, or LLM-driven automation systems.
  
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for backend or automation logic.
  
• Proven ability to design and deploy automation workflows using n8n, Sim AI, Zapier, or equivalent systems.
  
• Strong understanding of API integration, workflow orchestration, and system design principles.
  
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral) and their practical applications.
  
• Solid background in cloud-native architecture, Docker, and scalable system deployment.
  
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of agentic frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or BabyAGI.
  
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering techniques.
  
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
  
• Leadership experience overseeing automation or AI engineering projects.
