  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams (environmental, geotechnical, hydrogeological, fluvial, etc.) to ensure project integration and compliance.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and EITs.
  • Respond to review comments from municipal or agency stakeholders and assist in the preparation of response packages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on Water Resources.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (or eligibility for licensing within 6 months).
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in water resources engineering, with at least 2 years focused on stormwater management for subdivisions and/or site plans.
  • Proficient in PCSWMM and familiar with other stormwater modeling software such as VO, HEC-RAS, etc.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
  • Familiarity with municipal design standards and approval processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Assets:

  • Experience with innovative low-impact development (LID) or green infrastructure solutions.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools or advanced hydrologic/hydraulic modeling techniques.
  • Participation in software development or automation for water resources workflows.

What we offer:

  • Flexible 36-hour work week
  • Remote work flexibility
  • Dental/medical benefits plan (premiums paid by DSEL)
  • Wellness Spending Account
