Living Stones Foundation
Living Stones Foundation is seeking a committed Innovation Project Manager (Volunteer – Unpaid) to lead strategic initiatives, coordinate international teams, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge digital solutions aligned with our mission.
This role is unpaid and offers the opportunity to contribute to global social impact while working with an international, multidisciplinary, and multicultural team.
About Living Stones Foundation
Living Stones Foundation empowers nonprofits and communities through digital transformation, data-driven innovation, and social impact initiatives.
Our global volunteer program includes more than 70 professionals and graduate students from Top 20 U.S. and Canadian universities, working in AI, data science, digital platforms, project management, social innovation, and international development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Develop and manage work plans, timelines, KPIs, and impact metrics.
- Implement processes for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
- Deliver weekly performance and executive reports to the Volunteer Program Director.
2. Volunteer & Team Management
- Coordinate, supervise, and motivate multicultural and multidisciplinary teams of international volunteers and advisors.
- Oversee onboarding, training, role assignment, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure strategic talent allocation to maximize project success.
3. Stakeholder Management & Institutional Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison among Management, Program Managers, technical teams, partners, and international allies.
- Facilitate clear communication across cultures, disciplines, and time zones.
- Prepare strategic presentations and executive documentation for investors, donors, and multilateral organizations.
4. Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Oversee the integration of innovative solutions in Big Data, AI, fintech, and digital platforms.
- Ensure strategic alignment with the Foundation’s technological and social impact vision.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to guarantee scalability, sustainability, and innovation.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Background in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, Social Innovation, or similar fields.
- Prior experience leading teams or managing projects is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
Skills
- Spanish required (advanced).
- Bilingual English proficiency for international coordination.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Familiarity with digital innovation, AI, or technology platforms.
Availability
- 15 hours per week (flexible schedule, fully remote).
- Unpaid volunteer position.
