The Internship:

• This is a structured learning opportunity designed for college students seeking academic credit in communications, marketing, or related fields.
• Interns will gain hands-on experience in digital community building while receiving mentorship from the Wayo team.
• The focus is on developing professional skills, not on replacing paid employees.

What You’ll Learn & Do:

• Explore strategies for meaningful engagement on Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok
• Practice writing thoughtful comments and replies that add value to online conversations
• Learn how to identify and connect with target audiences (freelancers, remote workers, entrepreneurs in NYC)
• Gain exposure to social media analytics and trend monitoring
• Understand how online engagement can support community growth and conversions
• Receive mentorship and feedback from Wayo’s team to support your coursework and career development

You’re a Great Fit If:

• You’re enrolled in a college program and eligible to receive academic credit for internships
• You’re naturally conversational and enjoy engaging with people online
• You’re interested in learning about digital marketing, community building, and startup culture
• You’re comfortable working independently while receiving structured guidance

Details:
Remote position

• ~4 hours per day (flexible scheduling to accommodate classes)
• Unpaid, but eligible for academic credit through your college/university
• Direct mentorship and collaboration with the Wayo team
• Duration aligned with your academic term (semester/quarter)
