Job Description

We are looking for an India based developer to deliver software development, maintenance, and defect fixes on our clients core SAAS platform. The core platform is built using a web-based Microsoft application stack hosted on IIS and Microsoft SQL Server. The product is coded in .NET platform and .NET core application framework. The ideal applicant will have experience in these technologies and will be able to interact as a key member of the software development team.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely as an equal team member with the onshore US team and scrum team to deliver enhancements and requirements to deliver the product roadmap.
Participate in the Agile Scrum process including daily stand-up calls, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint demos.
Collaborate with necessary team members across multiple US time zones using Microsoft Teams, Atlassian JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
Work closely with product owners and product managers to ensure requirements met.

Skills Required

Ability to independently focus on delivering solutions with guidance from more senior team members.
Ability to analyze and understand existing code, how it functions, and how to make enhancements with only appropriate re-factoring.
3-5 years working with the .NET Framework and .NET Core application stacks including ASP.NET and ASP Classic.
Proficient development skills in Microsoft VB6 and C#.
Detailed understanding of Microsoft SQL Server including building and maintaining complex Stored Procedures and Triggers.
Familiarity with SAAS based business applications a plus.
3-5 years working in an Agile team.
