This is not a co-founder role, but Wellfound doesn't allow me to write target salary in the salary role for a commission-based role, so we need to say the salary is $1000-1000, though there is no base (it doesn't let me enter $0-$0 for the base salary).
Note these roles are currently 100% revenue share with a target salary of $50K for 10-15 hours/week. Those who work full time should earn $150-400k/year. We are an early stage startup, launched in Beta mode right now working towards getting traction. Within 6 months this could turn into a position with a guaranteed minimum monthly salary but we're not there yet.

We seek politely persistant sales professionals looking to increase their annual income via a “side hustle.”
For those independent sales contractors we hire, and that are successful in selling PlateRate to restaurants in their assigned territories, we are offering a very generous commission only compensation plan based on revenue share.
Job Description
PlateRate’s part-time sales professionals will take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage their pipeline, enter their data in to the corporate CRM, and close deals for PlateRate within their assigned territories. It will be optional to also maintain the relationship with the restaurant after the sale, doing so will result in an increased revenue share.
Key responsibilities are:
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with restaurant owners and managers in their assigned territory (you may even get a free meal)
Be able to demonstrate the PlateRate solution, as needed, in meetings with restaurant owners and managers (don’t worry, it’s simple)
Create, forecast, and manage sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue individual targets and company goals
Manage your part-time role as a PlateRate contractor while not effecting your full time position
Effectively manage your time across multiple job responsibilities
Qualifications:
- No prior experience necessary, but prior business development/sales experience is helpful
- Hospitality experience of any type is highly desireable
- Record of meeting and exceeding targets and quotas
- Consultative, analytical and solution sales approach with focus on building long term relationships with clients
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress is ok) preferred
