About the job
Company Description
Listen2It (and its its products getlisten2it.com and voomo.ai) is a AI based media generation tool. As the synthetic media industry grows tremendously, Listen2It is working to create the most realistic and efficiently generated videos and voices. We’re building Voomo Publisher, an AI-powered product that helps publishers turn articles into engaging 1–2 minute story videos using AI-generated scenes, visuals, and editorial content.
We’re looking for a Video Editor Intern with a strong editorial eye who can help us bridge the gap between AI-generated videos and the quality viewers expect from professional publishers.
About You
Voomo Publisher is looking for skilled AI Video Editors who can create high-quality videos using our in-house AI video editor and contribute to improving the Voomo editing experience. If you have hands-on experience with leading AI video tools like HeyGen, Synthesia, InVideo, Colossyan, Runway, or similar platforms—and you’re excited about shaping the future of AI-powered content creation—you’ll be a great fit.
What You'll do:
- Create and edit 1–2 minute story videos from real news and editorial articles.
- Study and recreate video formats from publishers such as Financial Times, Financial Express, The New York Times, and LA Times.
- Work with AI-generated scenes, stock footage, graphics, captions, music, and other visual assets.
- Improve AI-generated videos for pacing, storytelling, visual quality, and watchability.
- Identify what feels unnatural or ineffective in AI-generated videos and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with our product and engineering teams to establish quality benchmarks and editing guidelines.
- Document your editing decisions and workflows so that repetitive manual work can eventually be automated by Voomo Publisher.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong video editing and storytelling skills.
- A good instinct for pacing, visual storytelling, and viewer engagement.
- Experience with tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
- Interest in AI-generated video and creative AI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment and iterate.
- Ability to look at a video critically and explain why it works or doesn't work.
Bonus: Experience with news, editorial, explainer, or social media video content.
Why Join Us?
This is more than a traditional video editing internship. Your work will directly contribute to building an AI-powered video production workflow. The manual editing you do will help us understand what makes a story video good—and eventually automate those decisions.
You’ll work closely with a startup product and engineering team and have the opportunity to shape a product from an early stage.
To Apply: Send us your resume and portfolio/reel. Personal or college projects are welcome too.
