The Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is excited to build elegant, scalable software across the stack. In this role, you'll help shape key parts of our product—from building performant APIs and backend services to crafting seamless front-end user experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to lead projects end-to-end while working closely with product, design, and engineering teammates.

What You’ll Do

• Lead full-stack development efforts across the product—from architecture to implementation.
• Partner closely with product managers and designers to shape user-centric experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with an eye toward performance and maintainability.
• Mentor and support teammates through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Implement observability and monitoring systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Contribute to engineering practices that promote speed, quality, and consistency as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally working on production web applications.
• Full-Stack Skill Set: Proficiency in Node.js, client-side frameworks (we use React/Next.js), and distributed backend systems.
• DevOps Familiarity: Experience with Docker and modern CI/CD practices; understanding of cloud infrastructure (we use AWS).
• Ownership Mentality: Comfortable taking projects from spec to production with minimal oversight.
• Strong Communication: Able to clearly articulate technical tradeoffs and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Product Thinking: Curiosity about the “why” behind the work and a desire to help shape great user experiences.

Bonus Points

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, ECS, and SQS.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems or a strong interest in exploring applied AI use cases.
• Prior work in early-stage startups or on small, agile teams.
• A background in B2B SaaS or real estate tech.

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. We offer a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
