About the job
We're looking for a motivated Python developer to join our backend team building a modern FastAPI-based platform. You'll work closely with a senior developer, contributing to API development, database design, and testing while gaining valuable experience in production-grade software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop REST APIs using FastAPI and Python
- Design and implement database models with SQLAlchemy
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Collaborate on code reviews and maintain code quality
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support deployment and DevOps activities
Required Skills
Python: 2-3 years experience, comfortable with Python
Web APIs: Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework
Databases: SQL knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy ORM
Testing: Writing unit tests with pytest or similar frameworks
Git: Version control and collaborative development workflows
Problem Solving: Strong debugging and analytical skills
Nice to Have
Docker and containerization experience
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Payment gateway integrations
Async/await programming patterns
CI/CD pipeline experience
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
2-3 years of professional Python development
Strong communication skills and team collaboration
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
