About the job
About Peggy
We're building the first AI app truly made for parents. Peggy launches in a few weeks to solve family logistics (turning school emails into 6-minute weekly triage). Our next big bet is Phase 2: AI-powered college counseling that helps families navigate the college prep journey smarter, starting when kids hit middle school.
What You'll Build
Over 12 weeks (July-September), you'll iterate on an existing working prototype to build out a functional product to help 8th-10th graders and their parents to manage their short- and long-term college planning.
Here's what it needs to do:
- Ingest student data: report cards, test scores, activities
- Gather contextual intel: survey teachers, coaches, mentors about the student
- Run diagnostics: assess the student's strengths, interests, and family goals
Make personalized recommendations:
- Which colleges or majors match their profile
- What classes they should take next
- Which extracurriculars to focus on
- What summer experiences would strengthen their path
- What achievements they should focus on
You'll own this from current working prototype → refined production prodcut
