About the job

Delirious Eyewear, a luxury D2C eyewear brand blending Italian design with Japanese craftsmanship, seeks a visionary marketing leader to join as a co-founder. This is not a traditional employment role but a partnership opportunity for someone ready to own and scale our global marketing strategy autonomously.

Decentralized Global Structure
Our operations reflect a borderless approach:
Legal HQ: Milan, Italy
Operational Base: Asti, Piedmont, Italy
Production: 90% in Japan (Takiron acetate & titanium), 10% in the Dolomites (buffalo horn collections)
Founder Location: Santiago, Chile
This role is fully remote.

Compensation Structure
Monthly Performance Pay: 10% commission on all D2C e-commerce sales generated through your campaigns.
Annual Equity Grant: 5-10% company equity vested over 5 years, with a 1-year cliff and 4-year vesting schedule, contingent on meeting growth metrics.
This model aligns rewards with results, offering uncapped earning potential and long-term ownership.

End-to-End Marketing Strategy Ownership
Design and execute data-driven campaigns across paid social channels, Google Ads, and influencer partnerships. Optimize CAC while maintaining our luxury positioning. You’ll have full control over a marketing budget scaled to revenue targets.

Brand Storytelling & PR
Curate our narrative across Instagram and LinkedIn, emphasizing our hybrid Italian-Japanese design philosophy. Manage press relationships to secure coverage in magazines like Monocle. Oversee product seeding programs targeting journalists and trendsetters.

E-Commerce Conversion Optimization
Collaborate with our UX designer to A/B test landing pages, leveraging Hotjar analytics to reduce bounce rates.

Cross-Cultural Campaign Localization
Adapt messaging for every market, balancing universal luxury appeal with regional nuances. Example: Highlight Japanese titanium craftsmanship in APAC vs. Dolomites sustainability in EU campaigns.

Why This Role?
Delirious Eyewear was launched in 2012 and, until the end of 2024, operated exclusively by selling to opticians in about 20 countries. Over time, I realized that opticians, with their 2.7 to 3 times markup, were distorting the true value of my eyewear. As a result, I decided to eliminate all offline distribution and relaunch the brand online only, offering exceptional value for money directly through our e-commerce. This allows us to manage all communications directly with end customers-who, in fact, are the only ones truly loyal to a brand.

Ideal Candidate Profile
I am looking for someone who thinks and acts like an entrepreneur, not an employee-someone who brings ideas to the table rather than just executing instructions. You have hands-on experience in digital marketing, PR, and e-commerce, and a genuine passion for beauty, quality, and well-crafted products. You are results-driven, resilient in the face of challenges, and inspired by the opportunity to become a co-owner of an international niche eyewear brand.
