CivilMix is a leading online platform providing construction and civil engineering professionals with industry insights, news, and resources. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team and provide expertise in building design, planning, and construction.

Job Summary
We are looking for a licensed Architect with a strong background in building design, planning, and construction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team. The Architect will be responsible for providing architectural expertise, reviewing and creating designs, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Provide architectural expertise and guidance to the CivilMix team.
2. Review and create building designs, plans, and specifications.
3. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with designs and plans.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

1. Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
2. Licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
5. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural software.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with sustainable design and green building practices.
2. Knowledge of construction management software and technologies.
3. LEED AP or other sustainability certifications.
4. Experience with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.
