Backend Developer (Equity-Based Co-Founder Opportunity)

The Opportunity:
We’re offering an equity-based co-founder role for a driven and talented Backend Developer. This is a unique chance to build something impactful, with the potential for significant long-term rewards, including financial success through an IPO or exit.

What You’ll Do:

Architect, develop, and maintain the server-side logic and database infrastructure for Bedwellin.
Build and optimize secure APIs to support frontend functionality.
Implement authentication and authorization protocols using tools like OAuth and JWT.
Integrate third-party services like Stripe SDK for payments and Firebase for storage.
Ensure the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance during high-traffic periods.
Monitor and debug backend systems to identify and resolve issues.
Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless user experience.
What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
Experience with frameworks like Node.js (preferred), Express.js, or Django.
Expertise in database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud services like Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with API design (RESTful or GraphQL).
Strong understanding of version control systems like Git/GitHub.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
Testing experience using Mocha, Chai, or Postman.
