Software Engineer Lead / CTO

We’re at a pivotal stage where technical improvements can dramatically enhance our business, especially with the recent launch of our beta app. Our app enables members to access over 2,000 high-commission TikTok Shop products, with new items added daily. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our technical roadmap and elevate our platform to the next level.

What You’ll Do:
As Software Engineer Lead - potential CTO, you will:

Short-Term Goals:

• Enhance our current app built on Glide by integrating TikTok API’s to expand functionality.
• Develop tools like AI-powered hook writers and video violation checkers.
• Add new pages and features to the Glide platform to improve user experience.

Mid to Long-Term Goals:

• Lead the transition from our no-code app to a fully custom-built application.
• Map out backend and frontend architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee the development of our custom app while maintaining/improving the existing Glide-based platform during the transition.

Strategic Leadership:

• Define the technical roadmap, aligning with business objectives and growth goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute key projects.
• Implement best practices in software development, version control, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a software engineer, technical lead, or CTO in a startup or similar environment.
• Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating them into existing platforms.
• Experience with no-code tools like Glide is a plus, but the ability to transition to custom code is essential.
• Strong knowledge of backend and frontend development, including mapping out scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with AI add-on tools and their application in enhancing user experience. You won't have to develop everything yourself, but at least have the basic knowledge to lead the development.
