Manual QA Tester for mobile/web apps | 1-3 years Experience

We are a UK based startup, building a booking and growth platform that helps barbers save time, earn more and unlock their full potential.

We are looking to hire a Manual QA tester to test our mobile and web apps. We will help train you but we need someone dedicated, motivated, consistent, good communication, hard worker and who wants to grow and develop within the company.

Requirements:

1. GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (essential)
2. You must have your own recent devices for testing (iPhone XR+ , Android, laptop)
3. Experience writing clear, easily re-producible bug reports
4. 1-3 years of manual testing experience
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Experience using loom for bug reporting/reproducing is a plus (we can teach you)
7. Understanding how to use AI to increase testing efficiency is a plus
8. Experience with Asana is a plus

What will you do?

1. Analyse feature specifications and business scope to create test cases and conduct manual testing on our mobile and web apps (barber booking platform)
2. Report bugs on asana in a clear, organised, structured way, along with looms showing reproduction where necessary.
3. Use figma designs, asana task descriptions and user stories to thoroughly test features.
4. Take ownership for our Quality Assurance and be responsible for making sure 0 bugs go to production.
5. Work with devs to resolve bugs as necessary
6. Document test cases, test results, bugs etc
