Senior Paralegal

As Senior Paralegal, you would be an integral part of our legal team, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, and working with us to provide expert paralegal support while contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our marketplace business. This is the perfect role for an experienced paralegal with an entrepreneurial mindset, incredible attention to detail, and a passion for learning and growing, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Draft and review legal documents and agreements in collaboration with other members of the legal team.

• Conduct due diligence for transactions, including document analysis and information gathering.

• Provide comprehensive support to the legal team in various aspects of their work.

• Oversee and manage commercial deals, including collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

• Work closing with internal teams, external legal counsel and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient legal processes.

• Lead document management processes.

• Conduct research for lawyers and prepare related memorandums.

Required Skills:

• A recognized paralegal certification from an accredited institution.

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal, ideally having started out at a law firm, and honed in-house at a technology company.

• Proven experience in working on NDAs and other commercial agreements.

• Exceptional writing/drafting skills.

• A high level of organization, attention to detail and time management skills.

• A keen interest in creative problem solving.

• A desire to work on an agile team providing pragmatic advice and guidance to product, business, and operations teams that are moving very quickly.

• A track record of sound judgment and composure in high-pressure situations.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a tech start-up, high growth company, or private equity or venture capital fund.

• In-house experience in a publicly traded company.

• Experience with securities transactions.
