Software Engineer - Python/Spark

Kunai is partnering with a large-scale banking client to hire Software Engineers to build upon and support business-critical data platforms. This is the ideal role for a backend engineer who has worked in a hybrid data and software engineer role.

This is a remote position with preference to New York, NY or McLean, VA

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of Python experience
• 3+ years of AWS (Compute, Storage, Database, Serverless, Data Processing)
• Experience with real-time streaming and processing ( Spark, PySpark, Kafka)
• Familiar with DevOps processing and tools (Jenkins, CICD)

Nice to have:

• Programming experience in Golang,
• Experience with AWS Glue
• Experience working in a hybrid Data and Software engineer role
• GraphQL
