About Pazy:

Pazy is building India's most comprehensive integrated business payments platform. We help mid-market businesses automate their entire payment workflows - from invoice processing to reconciliation, while integrating seamlessly with their existing accounting systems, banks, and GST portals.

Role Overview:
We're looking for our first Finance Manager to own Pazy's internal finance function while also bringing deep finance expertise to shape our product roadmap. This is a unique opportunity to not just manage best-in-class finance operations for a high-growth startup, but also help create products that solve real pain points for finance teams across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Finance Leadership (50%):

• Own all aspects of Pazy's financial operations including accounting, compliance, tax filings, and reporting
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts
• Build scalable processes and controls as the organization grows
• Handle statutory compliance and regulatory filings

Product & Strategy Input (50%):

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to shape Pazy's payables automation platform. Provide deep domain expertise on accounting workflows, tax regulations.
• Help identify and prioritize key pain points faced by finance teams that Pazy can solve.
• Support go-to-market strategy by articulating product value proposition to finance leaders.
• Stay updated on latest fintech trends and regulatory changes affecting business payments.

Required Qualifications:

• CA or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in finance roles
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and banking systems
• Experience with ERP/accounting software implementations
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and business teams
• Startup experience preferred
