The Team

The Deliveroo Enterprise Technology team conceives, designs, builds and sustains the business services powering Deliveroo’s internal teams globally, as we transform the way customers eat. We continually drive service improvements and love to automate everything we can on our journey towards customer delight. ServiceNow launched at Deliveroo in 2022 and since then the platform has grown considerably to underpin core Enterprise processes, delivering an omni-channel experience to our internal employees.
You will report to the ServiceNow Group Product Lead. This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week from our Hyderabad office.
What you will do
- Lead of the India ServiceNow Engineering team
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Platforms Engineering Managers in the UK to create a coherent multi-site ServiceNow Engineering team with aligned standards, technical governance and quality
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders globally to ensure the timely and quality delivery of ServiceNow features
- Contribute to product strategy, set project and sprint goals, and ensure successful delivery
- Collaborate with the team to set standards, technical governance and engineering best practices
- Grow a diverse, accomplished team of engineers, who are experts in their domain
- Create a learning environment for the team and act as a mentor for engineers and growing technical leadership in the team
- Help to build effective, visible and measured team processes that enable high throughput
- Ensure continuous improvement and be an advocate for innovation, automation and use of ServiceNow features to solve business problems
- Strive for collecting robust metrics, data, and monitoring information from your services, ensuring that if an issue arises, the team is alerted before our users notice. Ensure the platform is maintained and upgraded regularly.
- Act as an escalation point for production issues that may occur outside of standard working hours
About You
- Experienced ServiceNow Engineering Manager with excellent breadth across the range of Product and Platform capabilities
- Experience growing and leading a high performing team
- A passionate advocate for ServiceNow and ability to engage stakeholders on the benefits of using the platform
- Experience of working in a ServiceNow customer and/or a product-based organisation
- Experience across a number of ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, Automation Engine, GRC, App Engine
- Skilled in setting and assessing objectives and planning structured work for teams and routinely improving working practices
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring teams and growing high performers
- Excellent ability to develop and write proposals and reports backed with analysed and visualised data
