Senior React Native Engineer

Through deep working relationships with healthcare companies, hospital systems, and academic institutions we help answer some of the most pressing questions in healthcare like "how can we change the health and cost trajectory of patients with a chronic lifestyle disease?", "how do we best taper down opioid prescriptions?", and "how do we build a clinical decision support that doctors find truly useful?"

We are currently looking for a contractor to help us on one of these projects for the next 6 months. To be a good fit for this position, you will have extensive experience with React and have strong communication collaboration with other developers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience with React Native
• Attention to detail & strong UI skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and self-sufficient
• Bonus if you’ve worked with Expo and/or React Native Web
• Bonus if you’ve worked with Ruby on Rails

Responsibilities

In this position you’ll be responsible for building an application & UI components using React Native while collaborating with other engineers, UX designers and our product team. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for making core architectural decisions for this application in conjunction with the CTO. You should be comfortable building beautiful and function UIs with internal and external APIs and enjoy working together with team members on their pull requests.

This application will be built using Typescript and React Native, with a small web component that is ideally deployed using React Native Web. While we have strong UI & Architectural patterns for NextJS applications, they will need to be developed fresh for this application, so strong CSS/Styling skills and experience with other web frameworks are a big plus.
