Quantitative Trader (Quant Trader)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quantitative Trader (Quant Trader) to join our Swiss-based over-the-counter (OTC) trading desk and liquidity provider, specializing in cryptocurrency markets. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge trading strategies and contribute to a fast-evolving industry.

Remote position for candidates based in non-sanctioned counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Algorithmic Trading Development: Design, implement, and optimize trading algorithms for high-frequency and systematic strategies.
• Data Analysis: Work with market data (real-time and historical) to identify trends, patterns, and trading opportunities.
• Strategy Backtesting: Perform rigorous backtesting and simulations to ensure profitability and robustness of strategies.
• Market Expertise: Analyze cryptocurrency and traditional markets (currencies, futures) to improve trading performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and traders to enhance trading infrastructure and analytics.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: 3+ years in algorithmic trading or quantitative research.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis, algorithm development, and testing.
• Market Knowledge: Experience with market data, trading platforms, and execution systems. Exposure to both cryptocurrency and traditional markets (e.g., forex or futures) is highly preferred.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to process and interpret complex data.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystems.
• Familiarity with APIs for trading platforms and market data providers.
• Knowledge of risk management principles in trading.
