What We Look For in You:
We are looking for an Engineering Lead to manage and grow our engineering team while driving the technical strategy for our products. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for developing scalable software solutions, mentoring engineers and overseeing key technical decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud technologies, full-stack development and AI integration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers, providing constructive feedback, fostering skill growth, and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Lead the design, development, and scaling of software systems, ensuring that architecture aligns with business goals, using best practices in agile methodologies, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Design scalable and efficient systems using technologies such as microservices, distributed systems, cloud computing and event-driven architecture. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of systems.
- Implement and integrate AI models where applicable to enhance product capabilities and user feedback mechanisms, driving innovation within the product.
- Oversee deployment and scaling of applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluate their potential impact, and make informed recommendations for adoption
- Work closely with product, design, and senior management teams to align technical goals with business priorities and ensure smooth communication throughout the development process.
- Participate in coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and solving complex engineering challenges to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in software engineering, focusing on quality, security, and continuous improvement of the development process.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation and communicate progress, risks and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience, with the last 2-3 years in an Engineering Lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development, especially in React Native for mobile app development and backend technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with AI/ML model integration or experience with AI technologies is a plus.
- Proficient in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and senior management teams. Comfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record in scaling systems preferably in a startup environment, optimizing performance and managing large-scale software deployments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members.
