About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Backend Developer to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems and APIs to support our application. If you are passionate about backend technologies, clean code, fast-paced development and delivering quality solutions, we’d like to meet you.

What you’ll do:

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient backend architecture using Node.js to support a growing platform.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance, including database queries, server response times, server auto-scaling.
• Work with NoSQL and SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues in production and non-production environments.
• Company-internal product management and tech stack health tools
• Business and product focussed dashboards help visualize and control data and triggers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

What you bring to the Tech Team:

• 3+ years of experience working as a BE engineer
• Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Proficiency in database design, querying and optimization(SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands on experience with AWS
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Bonus Skills:

● Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
● Working knowledge of React.js
● Previous experience in gaming domain or performance sensitive applications
