What will you do? 🤔

• Design scalable and resilient systems that efficiently handle metadata ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
• Apply expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
• Ensure systems are designed for fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and observability.
• Break down complex technical challenges and propose effective, scalable solutions.
• Use strong analytical skills for debugging, profiling, and optimising code and queries.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack by conducting benchmarking, load testing, and capacity planning.
• Build systems that scale horizontally, handle large data volumes, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Design for high availability, ensuring systems are resilient to failures.
• Work with cloud providers and services, with strong knowledge of at least one cloud environment.
• Leverage containerization technologies effectively.
• Build software with observability engrained—logs, metrics, traces, alerts—and use respective tooling to support software.
• Understand the needs of internal and external customers, ensuring solutions meet their requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and design decisions.
• Apply security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Conduct code reviews with a focus on secure coding practices.

• Proven Expertise: 8+ years of experience as a Software Development Professional, including hands-on technical architecture and systems integration involvement ideally with recent experience within the Data SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modelling.
• Familiarity with data security, encryption, and privacy best practices.
• Experience in building production-grade software in Golang.
• Experience working with lake-based data querying paradigms and ACID-compliant table formats.
• Exposure to scaling databases - SQL or NoSQL, understanding how textual search engines worksExperience working with enterprise customers and solving complex problems related to metadata management.
