DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our development team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable infrastructure and deployment processes, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability of our applications.

Responsibilities:
Operational Design/Architecture: Work with customers and product management to design and architect operational requirements for new products/solutions.
Automation and Acceleration: Automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into runtime environments quickly and reliably.
CI/CD Solutions: Provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery solutions for each of the projects on-premise or in the cloud.
Security Best Practices: Contribute to defining security best practices and work on "Shift Left" security to guarantee application security at the earliest stages of development.
Customer Experience: Ensure a best-in-class experience for customers via deployment automation and continuous monitoring.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with product managers and other engineers to gather requirements and scope out projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
Ensure excellent communication with team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
3 - 5 Years of Experience
Solid experience with Linux.
Proficient with one of the programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby for automation and integrations.
Experience with managing infrastructure and deployment of applications in different cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins or similar.
Experience with Docker and Familiarity with Kubernetes.
Experience with one of the Configuration and Provisioning Management Tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Puppet.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Sensu, Prometheus, Nagios, or similar.
Familiarity with Logging and Analytics Tools such as Elasticsearch or similar.
Ability to lead and impart knowledge effectively to junior resources.

Good to have
Experience in VMWare and KVM
Ability to research, architect, and drive complex technical solutions in multiple environments, cloud or on-premise.
Strong networking experience with technologies in TCP/IP, WAN, Gateways, Switching/Routing, and Cloud Networking.
