DevOps Engineer II

LooprIQ Inspect is an AI application designed to automate quality and production processes on the factory floor. Using LooprIQ Inspect, customers can automate detection of defects in products, verify assembly of parts and much more.

We have built a cutting-edge micro-service architecture where we leverage latest computer vision AI models in the backend to run inference on real-time video, store inference results in a scalable middleware and present them to a user friendly front-end whose experience is optimized for operators using the app in a factory setting. Data from the app is stored in a noSQL database which can be easily connected to customer's ERP system to derive analytics.

Our stack is NodeJS + ReactJS for backend & front-end services, with each of them packaged & deployed as docker containers.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, site reliability engineering, and infrastructure automation. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, and ensuring high availability for Loopr's deployments. This role will play a crucial part in eliminating manual processes, improving service reliability, and optimizing deployment workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AzureDevOps Pipelines to support efficient deployment of docker containers and infrastructure updates. Collaborate with development teams to review and improve deployment processes.

2. Design monitoring dashboards and alerting systems using MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Kibana to provide real-time insights into infrastructure health, performance, and availability.

3. Monitor, resolve and escalate infrastructure or functional issues to enhance incident response and service reliability.

4. Become a subject matter expert for the systems which you own, driving documentation, design evolution and innovation

5. Deliver results in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment

Technical Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

2. 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role.

3. Proficient in Python, Bash scripting and YAML.

4. Expertise of Docker for container orchestration and management. Kubernetes experience is preferred.

5. Experience building CI/CD pipelines in AzureDevOps Pipelines/GitLab/Jenkins or similar.

6. Experience with infrastructure and automation services of Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms

7. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
