Software Engineer (Backend/Full-stack/Infrastructure)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to develop and maintain the backend infrastructure for our trading app. This role will play a critical part in building secure, scalable systems that connect with external APIs for stock trading, clearing, and settlement to deliver a seamless and reliable trading experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the backend architecture for the trading and clearing systems.
• Develop secure APIs and integrate with external services, including broker and banking platforms.
• Ensure data security, transaction reliability, and regulatory compliance across all systems.
• Optimize backend systems for high availability and scalability to support rapid user growth.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for development and security.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in fintech or trading platforms.
• Proficiency in languages such as Javascript, Python, or Node.js....etc.
• Experience with financial services APIs, particularly stock trading and settlement.
• Strong understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, AML, KYC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience related to FinTech or startup experience
• Knowledge of high-frequency trading systems or financial derivatives.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
