Who we're looking for: We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) who is based in the US and excited to work remotely. This role is perfect for someone who has some prior experience or knowledge in semiconductor packaging technology and a budding professional network. If you’re driven, enthusiastic about tech, and ready to play a crucial role in our growth, we want to hear from you!
Your primary responsibility will be to find leads, develop business opportunities, and act as a bridge between Syenta’s product team and its clients to secure either system sales or paid Proof-of-Concept projects. This role demands a passion for cutting-edge technology and the grit to work in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the microelectronics field, with strong business development and/or sales acumen.
- Communication: Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate client conversations confidently.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working across time zones (US/Europe/Australia/Asia) and traveling up to 20-40%.
- Technical Aptitude: High interest in deep-tech with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
- Independence: Capable of working with minimal supervision in a fully remote role.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
Ideal Candidate:
- Direct experience with Advanced Packaging technology such as lithography or deposition techniques.
- A significant network within US semiconductor companies, OSATs, or research institutions.
- Proven track record of closing commercial deals in the $2-5M USD range.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and a commitment to keeping records up to date.
