Cloud Xperte is looking for a motivated Software Tester with 0 to 1+ years of experience to conduct thorough testing of software products, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to improve product quality. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong analytical mindset, and be capable of working independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Strategy: Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing; create and execute automated test scripts where applicable.
• Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software bugs; report issues clearly and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand requirements and align on expectations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate test documentation, including test case repositories and bug tracking reports.
• Test Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments to ensure they match production as closely as possible.
• Performance Testing: Assist in performance testing activities to ensure software scalability and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose process improvements to enhance testing strategies and team efficiency.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: 0 to 1+ years of experience in software testing, including exposure to both manual and automated testing practices.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective documentation and reporting.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
