Oaasis is seeking a Founding Tech Lead / Head of Engineering to play a central role in creating a transformational product for Supply Chain Management. This role involves leading the development (starting with MVP) and building a high-performance engineering team to continuously improve and scale our offering.

What you’ll do
Product development & MVP creation:
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of our initial MVP, creating a robust, scalable, and user-friendly platform.
- Take a hands-on role in coding and development during the early phases to ensure rapid delivery of the core product.
Technology strategy & roadmap:
- Define the technical vision and strategy, selecting the architecture, tools, and processes that enable scalability, configurability, and fast customer onboarding.
- Build a modular, API-driven platform that minimizes customization needs while delivering flexibility.
Team building & leadership:
- Recruit and select top talent to build a high-performance development team.
- Establish the culture, processes, and practices for a collaborative, agile, and results-driven team.
- Balance technical leadership with hands-on contributions as you grow the team.
Innovation in AI & optimization:
- Implement advanced technologies like AI, ML, constraint programming, and optimization solvers to deliver intelligent forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
Collaboration & stakeholder alignment:
- Work in close connection with the founders to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
- Communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ________________________________________ ### We’re seeking a self-starter with a track record in launching new products who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to take ownership of a high-impact, high-responsibility role.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of hands-on software development experience
- 2-3 years leadership experience or proven leadership capabilities in other areas
- Proven experience driving new product development and launching MVPs, particularly in SAAS or startup environments.
- Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on development with strategic decision-making.
Entrepreneurial mindset:
- High energy, self-motivated, innovative and comfortable taking ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities can evolve rapidly.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in backend development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) and scalable Saas architectures.
- Familiarity with AI, ML, and optimization technologies, including solvers, constraint programming, and decision automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), DevOps practices, and modern development frameworks.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Ability to build, recruit, mentor, and lead small, agile teams in fast-moving environments.
