Role Overview

We are looking for a Stellar Blockchain Developer Intern to join our tech team and contribute to building blockchain-powered solutions that enhance our platform's efficiency and security. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Stellar blockchain development, particularly using Rust for smart contracts on Stellar's Soroban platform. You will also work with APIs and SDKs to integrate blockchain features into the ScopeX platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and deploying decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on the Stellar blockchain using Rust.
• Implement and optimize Stellar smart contracts on the Soroban platform to support secure and efficient remittance transactions.
• Collaborate with the tech team to integrate Stellar blockchain features using SDKs like JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
• Develop and manage APIs that connect Stellar’s blockchain with ScopeX’s user interface and backend systems.
• Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of blockchain applications to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
• Research and stay updated on the latest developments in Stellar blockchain technology and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
• Document development processes and provide technical support to ensure seamless integration of blockchain features.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Rust is essential for Stellar Soroban development. * Familiarity with JavaScript and Go for Stellar SDKs is a strong advantage.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Basic understanding of blockchain concepts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and Stellar blockchain architecture.
• Technical Skills: Experience or coursework in using Stellar SDKs, Soroban smart contracts, and API development.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a passion for solving technical challenges in innovative ways.
• Self-Motivated: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced startup environment.
